Shawl No. 2 is hand-woven with locally-sourced Merino wool. The weave structure is an experiment around the idea of “double-weave texture plaid,” two layers splitting and merging through out the length. It is hand-dyed without any use of mordants often used in natural dyeing. Colors are extracted from the materials gathered by our partners throughout the Eastern American coast. The shawl is shown with Dragonfly / Wasp Large Lapel Pin by Title of Work (sold separately).

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
Handwash only. Fill a sink or a small bucket with lukewarm water. Fold the scarf and gently submerge it into the water for about 5-10 minutes. Wring it out by gently twisting and squeezing the cloth. Hang or flat dry. Do not wash more than once or twice per season. Store the shawl in a dark, cool place.
